Our reading "bootcamp" programs are designed to help clients read more accurately and understand the text more easily. With our Socratic guidance and personalized approach to learning, our clients will be able to strengthen the foundational skills involved in reading as well as higher order skills such as comprehension.
Content is student paced with a focus on independence and stability of foundational skills. Impulse Learning Accelerators' skill boot camps are scheduled Monday through Friday for a total of 4 weeks. Instruction is online and always one-to-one.

The Basics
Phonological Awareness is the foundation of both reading and spelling. We offer Phonological Awareness training tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Our research based program is designed to develop the ability read and spell new words.
Summer Reading
Focusing on a single text, we will help clients organize and complete a long reading assignment. During sessions, clients will develop their note taking ability before working on written reflections and responses.
Spelling and Fluency
Our tutoring program is designed to enhance spelling skills and reading fluency . Our approach involves engaging multiple sensory-cognitive skills to develop a stronger foundation in spelling and reading, leading to improved academic performance and confidence.
Comprehension
Dual Coding theory describes the ability to relate words on a page to a mental image in the "mind's eye." Using specially designed materials, our clients will learn to better understand and retain information. Our approach has been proven to be effective in improving academic performance.
