Many who have had an opportunity of knowing any more about mathematics confuse it with arithmetic, and consider it an arid science. In reality, however, it is a science which requires a great amount of imagination.

What is dyscalculia?
According to the DSM-5, Dyscalculia is a specific learning disorder evidenced by problems with number sense, memorization of arithmetic facts, fluent calculation and accurate mathematical reasoning.

The Impulse Difference
Math Intervention Visually is an intervention program for dyscalculia that begins by building the fundamental number sense necessary for quick and accurate calculation. At the same time students are building their feeling for numbers and quantities, they are also discovering the meaning behind mathematical notation, easing the transition to higher order mathematical operations. In addition, they will gain independence using a problem-solving framework that allows them to understand, plan and solve word problems and other application work.
